They have streamlined the menu the new one is not available online but most of your mid eastern staples are available with regular specials throughout the week.
No, its all street parking
Needed a quick dinner. This place has an excellent falafel sandwich. Ordered a side of hummus and pita and lentil soup. Inexpensive but high-quality ingredients and fast service. A go-to for fast, delicious middle-eastern.
In the heart of the Highlands, this inexpensive but delicious place is a hidden gem! Anyone who has visited the Middle East will appreciate the hummus. - it's fresh and authentic. Can't wait to return!
I rated them 4 because they cooked the chicken perfectly but unfortunately it didn’t have very much flavor. Falafel sandwich was ok but not great. Improvement is needed on seasoning. Cashier was well mannered and friendly.
quick service and great prices - must get the hummus!
Falafel house is by far the BEST Mediterranean food I’ve EVER had! I’m from NYC where we have lots of options and I’ve even been to Dubai And still the Mediterranean food does not compare. Not only the food but Hussein and Muhammad are so friendly and hospitable. We love them. This is our all time favorite restaurant in Louisville.
I'd actually go 3.5 stars if the app would let me. The food here is really good and well prepared! Very tasty! But, if your looking for atmosphere, this isn't the place. Getting takeout might be the way to go (but then you'd miss out on the free sample of the excellent lentil soup!!)!
I've ordered here for years. The service is consistent, the food is good, and it's introduced me to a few new dishes I hadn't seen. I always take my out of town friends here for lunch. Looking forward to when dine in is back, love y'all and Louisville does too.
The place is so bland and boring when it comes to jts atmosphere. There were dirty tables where some customers (and us) had to wait to be cleaned before sitting although there was no one there when we walked in. We had the chicken and beef shwarmas and they were both undercooked. My husband thought I was being dramatic till he tasted it too. After complaining, they made no remark into fixing the problem. Just said "sorry". The staff wasn't friendly and the baklava was dry and old. We've been there twice and have had bad service. Wouldn't recommend the place.
I went here on a whim, not knowing anything about it. I was pleasantly surprised! Delicious, fresh, authentic, and filling. I will definitely return next time I visit Louisville.
Baba Ganoush and Falafel are the best in Louisville.
Delicious food, great customer service and friendly people
In Louisville and HAD to stop at Falafel House. I have lived in many large cities across America and I have NEVER had better hummus. Drove from Danville for it!!! Thanks you Falafel House...your service is as good as your food!!! Every time I have been, you have been generous and welcoming!!! Worth a drive from ANYWHERE!!!
Try safers on 4th street, save your self the trouble, I had high hopes for this place, beefs tough, rice could be seasoned more, beef Sharma wrapped was dreadful. I wish I would of spent the money at safers.
Good food, its fried so it'll fill you up. They give you a nice lentil soup as you sit down, which is great during the cold months. Its a decent place.
It's a nice place where you can eat Halal food. The location, ambience and the staff is very good. Highly Recommended 👍🏻
Amazing!!! Great place great prices...a must if your hungry.
There good is good but quantity was not. I heard they serve some kind of soup and tea but we didn't get anything.
They have the best hummus and staff in town. Seriously the food is good and the attitude these guys have makes them the rockstars of this food genre. We stopped on a whim and definitely will be back for more.
Okay. Not amazing. Salad seemed a little thin on ingredients. Lentil soup was good, but everything else was mediocre. Seems clean, but worn down.
1st time we are stopping by and after a long ride from Chicago. The food and customer service is 10/10. If it happened we are in the area, we know where to stop for rest, good food and service.
great place to eat Mediterranean food. it is our new favorite place. the prices are good and the food really good.I drove about 40 min yesterday just to get lamb in this place. if you want to eat a great gyro or great falafel wrab go this this restaurant. I recommend it They are great
AMAZING. we ordered chicken kabob and The shawarma plate. It brings soo much!! Their garlic sauce is so good, and the Dolmas are amazing.
Love love love the falafel! Had to take an extra order hone. So flavorful and not greasy. They this tea that was perfect on a cold fall night...and the special salad was soooo good with the pitas.
Maybe they have a bunch of people who just love them. The food is ok. The atmosphere seems to never have entered their minds. I have only been there when almost no one else was. Not particularly friendly. I love Middle Eastern food, but something always tells me to try somewhere else when I am in the neighborhood. Maybe it is just me.
My husband and I decided to try this place last Saturday night. We LOVED it. We love Mediterranean food and this place was excellent! They give you a spicy/sweet relish that is so yummy, along with warm pita bread and tzatziki sauce to start, then they brought us our meal. We ordered and shared the big player that had 3 kabobs, full order of chicken shawarma and beef shawarma all on top of rice. It was so yummy. The seasoning on the meat was delicious, especially on the tender beef and chicken. All the meat was cooked to perfection! The baklava was especially good too. It was so so good and at such a great price!! Definitely go and check out!!!
It was an amazing experience for my “Foodie Train”We had our first stop at this restaurant today .. food was awesome and authentic.. service was friendly and welcoming.. I could have used some air conditioning but it all came together and this place is a must visit ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was ok. The food tasted good. Not amazing but good. The atmosphere needed a little help. I'm 50:50 on if I would eat there again.
Love the Chicken Schwarma wrap!
Best Mediterranean food in town! They are always so friendly and they have the best hummus I've ever had.
Very good place! Fair prices!
In the year that I lived in Louisville, The Falafel House was the 1 spot in the city that I knew I could consistently get an absolutely delicious and filling meal. The guys who run the restaurant work hard. It’s always the same guys throughout the whole day. No matter when I order, lunch or dinner, I know my go to Atomic Falafel plus Lentil Soup order is going to be good because the cook is always the same. Orders come out quickly and the prices are unbelievably reasonable for the area. You would end up spending 2-3x more on Bardstown Rd for anything as filling.
Fast, reasonable, friendly, delicious@
Good prices. Poor customer service. Disappointed by the small and tasteless gyro wrap I purchased.
The Falafel House has, without a doubt, the best hummus in town. Shawarma and gyros are great. Make sure to try the hot sage tea.
I just got back from a trip to Israel and haven't found good Mediterranean food anywhere, until now. This place is authentic. Great food, and GREAT service. The owner knows how to make some delicious food and create an authentic atmosphere. Honestly I could close my eyes and be back is Jerusalem. I got the falafel wrap and my family and I split the hummus appetizer.
Best lemon lentil soup. Gyros were fabulous. Not the most friendly service but not unfriendly either. Food served hot, fast, and the place was very clean. I absolutely love this little place. THE PRICES ARE GREAT AND PORTIONS ARE LARGE. one of my favorite places to eat in all of Louisville
Everything was cooked hot and cooked to perfection... Service was great and the staff were really helpful for being my 1st time in their restaurant
They have the Best Hummus and Falafel in the city. So Delicious.
This is my second visit. First time meh, this time so good. The falafels were great and the rice was nice. It came with a yogurt dipping sauce. And a vegan soup sampler, which is what I'll have next time. And falafel.
Excellent food with friendly and welcoming service. Their hummus is out of this world with silky smooth texture and robust yet balanced flavor.
The food was good and prices were very reasonable. Friendly staff and great location. Good portion and the meat is fresh.
The place is amazing. I have been eating here for more than 2 years and they have never disappointed. The owner is really friendly and caters to all the specifications you ask for. THEY HAVE THE BEST FALAFEL IN THE WORLD.
Hands down best falafel place in town. Delicious authentic hummus! Must try! Just carry out of you don't like the environment.
The only reason this gets 3 stars is because it’s a bit dingy and dirty in the restaurant. Food was pretty food and everyone was friendly, I’d just spend more time with the facilities!
I had the special hummus with chicken. It's some of the best I've ever had! So creamy and flavorful!!!
Awesome food and service! Excellent!
The best Mediterranean food I've ever had in the United States. The shawarma, kabobs, gyros, all of it is fantastic. Go get you some.
Food great bathroom never works
They have gluten free options. And they will customize your order. A must here is there Sage Tea! It's truly phenomenal cup of strong tea
